Another fight promotion jumped into the MMA world. The World Series of Fighting announced their upcoming fight card and presence among MMA's promoters
What is it? The new promotion will be based in Las Vegas and is led by Ray Sefo, a legendary kickboxer, and Sig Rogich, a Nevada-based PR and marketing executive. Their first card will be on Nov. 3 and air on NBC Sports Network.
Do they have any known names lined up? Former WEC champ and UFC bantamweight Miguel Torres will headline the first show. Former UFC Gerald Harris and Josh Burkman are also slated for the first show, along with Bobby Lashley.
Who will announce? Bas Rutten the MMA guru who hosts "Inside MMA" on AXSTV, Michael Schiavello, the Australian announcer who often calls fights for AXSTV, and former pro wrestler Kurt Angle will call the fight.
